I've been into comics for as long as I can remember.  My grandfather died when I was very young and what better to leave a kid than his prized comic collection.  My folks sat on it 'till I was old enough to know what I had.  I picked up where he left off and spent way too much money filling in all the blanks.  Now I can seriously say I have one of the finest pedigree (as defined as "thorough in specific title runs")comic collections in the US.

The addiction to art came from my infuriating lack of ability in other fields.  Namely: every other class school has to offer.  Since day one, I've only been good at four things, Drawing/Painting, Design, Kendo, and Film History.  They're all connected somehow... except for Kendo.  I just really love to fight, and swordplay and I seem to go well together.

I've graduated from more art schools than I care to name and I can honestly tell you, that if you're planning a career in art or design: DO NOT GO TO ART SCHOOL!  The best in the buisiness usually don't and the best that I've met taught themselves.

To date, my clients include: Marvel Ent. Group (marketing/liscensing), DC Comics (marketing/liscensing), Jeep (advertising), Aquavelva (advertising), The Boy Scouts of America (marketing/advertising/design), Chevy Chase Bank (marketing/design)

I'm currently a Senior Designer and Projects Lead for Taylor Bros. working in conjunction with the achitects to make sure they're ideas are staying within the laws of physics.  Funny thing: the architects get most of the money and all of the credit, but it's the Designers and Civil Engineers who make it all actually work.
